Adoptions

All potential adopters are required to complete a questionnaire to determine eligibility for adoption.  There is a minimum 2 business day waiting period to look over the questionnaire and to contact references.

All kittens receive any and all veterinary care including the age appropriate vaccines, microchip, stool sample check, and an application of Advantage Multi. You will get a folder with lots of info on a variety of health topics, a free 30 day trial of Trupanion pet insurance, a soft fleece blanket, a toy, and a free sample of Hill’s Science Diet food. You will also receive a copy of medical records for the kitten as well as of both parents.

Kittens are ready to go to their new homes between 8-12 weeks of age. The length of time they stay depends on the health and personality of each individual kitten. Male kittens aged 8-10 weeks old and female kittens are not altered (neutered/spayed) prior to adoption due to their age. Proof of neuter/spay from your veterinarian will be required by the time the kitten is 6 months of age. Any male kittens 11 weeks and older can be neutered (upon request) prior to leaving for an additional charge of $250.

Kittens are sold as pets ONLY and therefore do not come with registration papers. Parents are TICA registered. The deposit amount is $250 per kitten. Choosing a kitten goes in order of the date deposits are received. If there's not a kitten in the current litter that you want then you can elect to wait until the next litter. In that event, kitten choice still goes in order of the date the deposits are received.
